With in house maintenance we can ensure the aircraft you are flying is ready to fly safely with an excellent dispatch rate for better availability. Our Certified AP/IA can perform inspections, repairs and everyday maintenance at our location giving us better control of maintenance needs to ensure quality.
Our instructors bring lots of experience of training in Cessna 172s but can also work with you in your own airplane if you are working on additional ratings or endorsements or just need a Flight Review. Great instructors at a great price.
Four of our 172s are equipped with the latest GPS navigators from Avidyne with an easy to use Flight Management system, Terrain awareness, and Synthetic Vision. Our fifth has Garmin equipment for those that are more familiar with it. They are interfaced to Aspen PFD displays for the glass panel experience, but also to traditional navigation equipment so you can experience both for a compete learning experience. We have modeled all three aircraft to be a seamless transition for a student to fly any aircraft. Thus you have no worries about having to learn new systems or controls when switching between aircraft. This saves you from wasting time getting accustomed to another airplane if your favorite happens to be in for maintenance.
Come experience the hometown feel of our training. We are not a large one size fits all school that has their plan for your training. Our instructors can work with your schedule and availability. They can focus on your flying needs as not everyone learns at the same pace and some students may need extra attention with certain tasks, while excelling and easily learning others. Our instructors can identify your areas of need and customize your lesson plan accordingly. They work with you on your lesson needs instead of the school's "game plan".
While we are all here to learn (your license is just a license to continue learning) but, we also enjoy fun hangar talk, whether it be shared flying adventures with others looking to make a similar trip or engaging safety discussions that are actually fun while being educational. While we don't want to interrupt anyone else's lessons, there are always times in between for engaging conversations. Feel free to hang around and engage in the conversation before or after your lesson, or ask for a tour to head out into the hangar to explore some of the different aircraft often housed in the hangar
Our aircraft are owned by the company, maintained in house, and are very fuel efficient. These three factors are how we can offer great aircraft to you at prices that are better than the competition with equivalent or in most cases better Avionics. We value our instructors as well as our value mission. Thus, while our instructors can provide you with a savings per hour over the competition, we compensate them at the same rate as the others. Our low overhead structure allows for this. With our scheduling software you and your instructor can setup everything together and there is no need for multiple office personnel, but, for times when office or other administrative needs arise they are handled by the owners personally.
Stop by for a tour, talk with the owner, chat with a CFI, check out the airplanes and see the difference for yourself.
